Privacy policy
What the site collects, what it does with it, and where you should be careful.
This is a standard template, not legal advice about your own obligations. Confirm it matches how the firm actually handles intake before publishing.
What we collect
When you use the intake form we ask for your name, email address, phone number, the practice area involved, and a description of your situation. We receive whatever you choose to type.
Our server records basic technical information for security and troubleshooting: the pages requested, the time of the request, and a browser identifier. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
How we use it
Information submitted through the site is used for one purpose: to decide whether the firm can take your matter, and to reply to you. It is not sold, rented, or shared with marketers.
If you become a client, the intake information becomes part of your client file and is handled under the firm's confidentiality obligations.
Before you send anything sensitive
The website form is a convenience, not a secure channel. Until an engagement letter is signed, no attorney–client relationship exists and confidentiality may not attach.
Do not send documents, account numbers, medical records, or details you would not want disclosed. Call the office first if your matter is urgent or sensitive.
Third-party services
This site loads a map from Google Maps and fonts from Google. When a page loads, your browser sends your IP address to those providers so they can deliver the content. Their own privacy policies govern that exchange.
If the site is configured to send email through a delivery provider, submitted messages pass through that provider on the way to the firm's inbox.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses a small amount of local storage to remember your display preferences and to keep the navigation working. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Retention and your choices
Inquiry messages that do not become client matters are retained only as long as needed to decide whether to take the matter and to respond, then deleted.
You may ask us to delete the information you submitted, or ask what we hold about you, by writing to partmasonreed@gmail.com or calling (770) 764-6282.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised; continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
